When 1 password was working I was reasonably grateful but for a few glitches. However since I have lost all my data on account of their not streamlining the old version with the new version they have been horribly absent. I have been back and forth with them a number of times (over a week now) and they have essential done nothing to help. I give them a major grade F on customer support and they have no phone number. A disgrace for such a big product in 2010

Right now it doesn't appear that 1Password supports syncing between computers. Perhaps you can write to the creators and request the feature.

I am thinking about using 1password, but i keep having one problem. My wife and I both use alot of the same passwords on websites that we both need to log into. What if i am not on my computer and we only have hers, will we not be able to access the information? I can see that cause frustration.

Thank you for the great review! I'm happy to hear 1Password is fitting perfectly into your workflow and saving you time.

You're right that it would be nice if 1Password could import all your keychain items. We can do this, but the issue is you would need to click "Allow" on every single item we imported. This is because of the way the keychain handles its access control lists. Still, clicking "Allow" for each item would be easier than copy and pasting each item, so we should add this feature.

Also, I like the idea of having 1Password prompt you to import your Safari passwords earlier. We should add this to the Setup Assistant, or maybe on first launch of the browser. Having a "disable built-in password manager" checkbox would be nice too.

Cheers!
